YouTube superstar MrBeast is preparing to take on the mobile industry. According to a leaked investor deck obtained by Business Insider, the 27-year-old creator is working on launching his own phone service next year. The move would expand his growing empire beyond food, toys, and entertainment into telecommunications.

Phone Venture in Works

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, plans to establish a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO). Instead of building his own costly network, he would offer phone service by leasing infrastructure from major carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon. This model has been used successfully by celebrities such as Ryan Reynolds, whose Mint Mobile was acquired by T-Mobile for $1.35 billion.

Partnership Possibilities

Reports suggest that T-Mobile, which already provides MVNO solutions and has previously partnered with MrBeast, could be a potential network partner. This would allow him to offer affordable service packages while leveraging his massive online following to attract customers.

Expanding Beast Industries

The phone company would be part of MrBeast’s larger business expansion strategy under Beast Industries. The group is reportedly also exploring fintech and mobile gaming, tapping into fast-growing digital markets alongside telecommunications.

Mixed Media Finances

Despite MrBeast’s global reach, with roughly 430 million YouTube subscribers, his media business has not been profitable. Last year, Bloomberg reported that his media arm, which includes YouTube productions and a Prime Video reality competition, lost nearly $80 million.

Side Hustles Paying Off

By contrast, MrBeast’s consumer products are thriving. His Feastables snack brand generated $250 million in sales and $20 million in profit in 2024, while Lunchly and his toy line continue to expand. A phone company could help balance his brand portfolio and drive his empire toward long-term profitability.
