A massive document release by the House Oversight Committee has revealed that Jeffrey Epstein’s staff closely monitored Donald Trump’s travel and continued forwarding news about him long after their friendship collapsed. As reported by The Guardian, the 20,000-page tranche, made public by Republican committee members, sheds new light on Epstein’s fixation with Trump, his private comments about the former president, and the controversial exchanges that reignited scrutiny of their ties.

Epstein Staff Monitored Trump’s Flights

Emails between Epstein and his pilot, Larry Visoski, show detailed tracking of Trump’s air travel between 2016 and 2018. On November 25, 2016, Visoski wrote, “Trump is still scheduled to depart Sunday between 4 and 6 pm. Let me know if we are firm for wheels up Saturday at 6 pm still?” Epstein replied, “Will let you know tomorrow morning.” Further correspondence included updates like, “Trump in our neighborhood today. Looks like he is going to 740 Park for a fundraiser,” sent in December 2017 by Epstein’s accountant Richard Kahn. Epstein’s emails suggest that while he monitored Trump’s movements, there is no indication of direct contact during this period.

Emails Reveal Trump Jokes and Gossip

Some correspondences included casual mentions of Trump by Epstein’s visitors. One person waiting outside his Manhattan home joked, “I don’t want to come early to find Trump in your house,” accompanied by smiling emojis. Epstein’s team also circulated news articles about Trump, from the arrest of his ally Roger Stone to Michael Cohen’s legal troubles. These forwarded updates reflect Epstein’s continuing interest in Trump’s political trajectory.

Epstein’s Private Criticism of Trump

Beyond monitoring, Epstein privately disparaged Trump in emails with acquaintances, including former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers. “Trump – borderline insane. Dersh, a few feet further from the border but not by much,” Epstein wrote in December 2018, referencing his attorney Alan Dershowitz.
Summers asked, “Will Trump crack into insanity?” to which Epstein replied, “This is not a new phenomenon for him… I hope someone close to him gets indicted; otherwise, the pressure of the unknown will force him to do crazy things.”
In another exchange with journalist Landon Thomas Jr., Epstein called Trump “evil beyond belief mad,” saying, “He feels alone, and is nuts!!! Stormy Daniels? Lies after lies after lies.”

Flight Coordination and Security Updates

Visoski frequently shared logistical notes linking Trump’s movements with Epstein’s travel plans. In December 2016, he wrote, “Updated President Elect schedule: Trump Plane to arrive Orlando at 5 pm Friday. He usually runs late.”
By late 2017, Epstein told Visoski about his own upcoming trip to Little St James, noting, “Trump is in town that week.” Visoski assured him the timing would not interfere: “It shouldn’t be too bad if we are leaving early and Trump is not scheduled to depart until 3 pm on Sunday.” Other messages outlined restrictions like “While Trump is in PBI, TSA only allows arrival and departures between 8 am and 5 pm.”

Epstein Also Tracked Other Leaders

The documents show Epstein’s team tracked movements of other high-profile figures, including then–Vice President Joe Biden. In September 2012, an assistant informed Epstein, “Vice-President Joe Biden is in West Palm Beach and is scheduled to depart between 5 pm and 6 pm today. We’ll need wheels up at 4 pm or 2 pm.” The level of coordination suggests Epstein’s staff routinely monitored VIP flight activity, possibly to avoid airspace restrictions near government officials.

House Democrats’ Email Leak Deepens Scandal

The new documents follow an earlier release by House Democrats, who published three previously unseen Epstein emails from 2011, 2015, and 2019. In them, Epstein called Trump the “dog that hasn’t barked” and alleged Trump had “spent hours” at his home with one of Epstein’s victims, claiming Trump “knew about the girls.” These revelations reignited the controversy surrounding Trump’s past association with Epstein and intensified public debate over the former president’s denials.

Trump and White House Dismiss Allegations

Reacting on Truth Social, Trump accused Democrats of reviving “the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax” to distract from the government shutdown and other political issues. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt echoed the claim, saying Democrats had “selectively leaked emails to create a fake narrative.”
Leavitt further stated that the unnamed victim referenced in the emails was Virginia Giuffre, who “repeatedly said President Trump was not involved in any wrongdoing whatsoever.” She added, “Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his club decades ago for being a creep to his female employees. These stories are bad-faith efforts to distract from President Trump’s historic accomplishments.”
